This game reminds me of the asian game, though I only know it by the name Go- I understand it's got more than one proper name in each asian culture. However, I don't 'think' it's played quite the same either, not that I'd know personally. But, it's essentially extreme checkers, this game is at least, as instead of moving pieces, you place them, and you can jump as many of the opponent's pieces as you want, so long as there isn't a break in them, and you have a piece at the beginning as well.
