You do not need all of your men to survive, but if you do then you get a gold medal! Try not to let any of your loyal subjects die, and get the gold on every level! With each level there will be a host of projectiles thrown at you to destroy your castle, and you must anticipate the kind of projectiles to build the castle that will be sturdiest from their onslaught.
