The unfortunate thing is that if you get too close, you are going to get hurt so it is best to keep your distance in order to maintain a good relationship with all the other squares. In this game, the objective is to gain happiness. The closer you get your square to another square, the more happiness you will get. If you get too close and touch them, you will die. If you get close to 2 squares, you will get twice as much happiness from each of them. Keep going and see how much happiness you can get from all the other squares.
