You are a world class scientists that has received a huge sum of money from the government to build a lab in the middle of nowhere and run your experiments and the occasional "Classified" assignments that they send you. The government wants to put a monitoring device on Mars and you are just the man to make it happen seeing as how they have not made much money off of you since your last rocket expedition. When you run out of fuel the head cabin of the rocket will still remain flying for a bit longer so try to make it your checkpoints or pick up anything else you can.
